As a Pharmacy Technician at our thriving pharmacy client, you won't just be filling prescriptionsβ€”you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. In this role strong attention to detail is a must as you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with State and Federal laws, as well as internal policies and procedures governing medication handling, dispensing, and distribution.
  • Review patient profiles in the pharmacy system to fulfill prescription orders accurately and completely.
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by sorting, stocking, and returning excess stock or unused medications.
  • Prioritize and manage the pharmacy system's print queue, printing medication labels and checking inventory balances.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist the logistics team in packaging and shipping medications and supplies to uphold workflow commitments to customers.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Consistent focus and attention to detail resulting in superior accuracy.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 30 lbs.) in compliance with safe handling procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate pharmacy systems and Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks or collaboratively in a team setting while maintaining focus on detail, accuracy, and productivity.

Education:

  • High School Diploma and additional specialized training as a Pharmacy Technician.
