Implants Dental Technician

We are currently hiring for a full-time Dental Implant position.

Essential Functions

  • Working as a team to accomplish the needs of a dental implant department.
  • Scan in cases and accurately set them up so that the proper abutment can be designed and manufactured.
  • Prepare digital files received from IOS scans.
  • Design abutments.
  • Design the final restoration when time permits.
  • Quality control and prepare the implant cases to be worked on by the crown and bridge team.
  • Help the rest of the implant team when they are shorthanded with tasks such as cementing crowns to implant abutments, preparing models with the correct analogue and soft tissue mask, quality control of cases, waxing up prototypes, and more.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.


Requirements

Education & Experience

Required

  • Basic dental training.

Preferred

  • Three years prior dental experience or background, a plus. Training will be provided.
  • Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting - Sitting Continuous for 8+ hours
  • Bending - Bending or stooping continuously for 8+ hours
  • Lift/Push/Carry - Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 15lbs
  • Vision - The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, pinch, grasp.
  • Able to use hand tools with repetitive vibration and manual dexterity.

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to wear personnel protective equipment for tasks requiring them.
  • The worker is subject to vibration, exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
